Virtual Therapy

Healthcare has changed, and so too has mental health care. Through the use of secure video-conferencing technology, mental health care providers and clients can still engage in virtual therapy without being in the same physical location. Virtual therapy can be helpful in increasing access to care by removing distance, transportation, or mobility barriers for clients. For clients who have great working relationships with providers, it offers continuity of care in the case of within-state relocation or travel. As we've seen during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it has been a saving grace to offer safe support in a unprecedented time.  Though virtual therapy has its value and is beneficial for many clients, it isn’t appropriate for everyone or every problem or concern. If you’re interested in seeing if virtual therapy is right for you, let’s talk. Use the contact form, shoot me an email, or give me a call so we can schedule a time to discuss.
